Plushie FAQ

ESTIMATED PRODUCTION AND FULFILLMENT TIMELINE

Big Pink Shark

(1) Preorder period: September 5th to September 26th

(2) Manufacturing period:
Late September-Late November/Early December

(3) Delivery & Quality Control: Late December/early-mid January 

(4) Packaging and Shipping: Mid-Late January Onwards

Dark Shark 

(1) Preorder period: October 5th to October 25th

(2) Manufacturing period:
Late October-Early-Mid December

(3) Delivery & Quality Control: Mid-Late January

Preorder Timeline and Fulfillment:

Question 1: When does the preorder period end?

Answer 1: This preorder period ends on September 25th for Big Pink Shark and October 25th for Dark Shark. 

Question 2: When does my item ship and how will I know when it is shipped?

Answer 2: Your item will hopefully ship out after I receive delivery of the preorders and do inspection. I will provide a link via email with tracking when your product is shipped out. 

 

International:

Question 3: Do you ship to EU and Northern Ireland Addresses?

Answer 3: Yes, I will ship there although it may be delivered to a European point of contact if I encounter any issues with Customs due to EU laws. Currently though, it delivers to the EU just fine. Some EU countries do require you pay taxes on arrival however. 

Question 4: I live in a country that doesn't allow shipment from the US but I want the plushie. How do I get it?

Answer 4: I apologize if we are unable to send the product to your country. I suggest using a third party intermediary or sending it to a friend in another country. 

Question 5: Will you pay the VAT or do I have to?

Answer 5: No, I will not pay it. Please note that any charged VAT, additional taxes, tariffs, custom fees and levies for your purchase will be on the buyer, not the seller. 

Everything else 

Question 6: If I miss the preorders will there be a restock later?

Answer 6: Yes! I will restock with the additional plushies I buy although I will be splitting those numbers between those online and those for conventions, so restock will be limited. Please check my Convention Schedule if you are interested to learn more.

Question 7: I moved before/during the shipping period and need to change my address/contact info. How do I do that?

Answer 7: Please contact me if you are moving between now and the delivery period so I can change your address to your new one! Usually if something is delivered to an outdated address it is later returned to me. You will have to pay any extra shiping costs to have it sent to your new address.

Question 8: How can I contact you about my order or if I have any urgent enquiries?

Answer 8: You may reach me via the Contact page. Please give me 1-3 working days to respond to any inquiries. 

Question 9: Are these affilated with Marvel?

Answer 9: No, this is a fan project initiated and manged solely by myself. The only other party invovled are the manufacturers of the plushies based on the designs I worked on and provided. 

Question 10: The plushies are really expensive, is there a way to get them for a cheaper price for my friends and I?

Answer 10: Yes, there is! I am willing to do group orders at a cheaper price. Please contact me via the Contact Page to discuss details. 

 

Exchanges/Replacements:

Exchanges are allowed only if there is a major defect in the plushie. Please contact me via the Contact page with photos and video evidence to gauge the severity of the defect. 

*Major Defects include torn parts, stained or damaged design. If this occurs I will replace the plushie and cover the shipping cost for the replacement.*

I will send a replacement free of charge if: there was lost or damaged plushie during transit due to our packing process or the shipping service. Please contact us via email with an unboxing video/photographs.

I will not send a replacement free of charge if: there is a lost/returned package due to errors in your local postal service, your country's customs, including not paying your import tax on time, typing your address incorerctly or someone else, e.g. a friend or family member opening your package.

 

Refunds:

All orders are final. Refunds will only be issued within 48 hours of purchasing the preorder or I send the wrong item to you.

**I will work with you if you have a good reason to request a refund after the 48 hours but you will need to email me to discuss it.**

 

Shipping Disclaimers:

Taxation and Customs: Import tax, value-added tax (VAT) and other custom fees are not included in the cost listed on Bigcartel. Any additional charges resulting from import tax will be borne by the customer after arrival of your package. Please ensure that you will fill out your address, including postcode, accurately. This will reduce the changes of customs rejecting the package. 

All Orders will be shipped from the United States. Those interested in doing Group Orders please contact me via the Contact Page so we can work something out. 

Due to certain laws/shipping requirements I am unable to directly ship to: Afganistan, Belarus, Bhutan, Chad, Cuba, Israel, Iran, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Lebanon, Libya, Papua New Guinea, Russian Federation, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Sudan, Syria, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Yemen.
